Ryuichi Sakamoto: Romantic Piano & Joyful Noise
Ryuichi Sakamoto is an Academy Award winning (The Last Emperor), critically-acclaimed and willfully eclectic Japanese composer and pianist. He has worked with David Bowie, David Byrne and many others.  He also founded the Yellow Magic Orchestra and has released a string of solo albums ranging in style from the romantic to the noisy.  In the first hour, we talk about concepts of noise and music with this innovative artist.  In the second hour, he unfurls his delicate and often romantic solo piano works in a live Echoes performance.
