If you’re looking to get your flute on this summer, check out the Zion Flute and Drum Festival.
It’s happening in Utah May15-17, 2009 and it’s a gathering of flute players, makers, educators and fans for a few days of wind blown melodies, including live concerts that include a pair of Echoes favorites, Suzanne Teng & Mystic Journey and Robert Mirabal (aka Johnny Whitehorse).

They’ll be playing a concert performance and conducting workshops. Also doing workshops is Scott August, another Echoes favorite.
The Zion Flute and Drum Festival takes place in Utah in the City of Ivins near Snow Canyon State Park.
