Another productive day in London, covering a lot of ground by subway and by car. While John was interviewing John Fox, I hopped on the tube, taking the Piccadilly Line pretty near to its northeast end, to meet the guys from Sounds From the Ground. Surrounded by vintage synthesizers as well as the latest computer programs, they discussed how they create their atmospheric downtempo electronica.
Keep an ear out on Echoes for some exclusive mixes of tunes from their forthcoming CD.
Later in the afternoon, we ventured into London’s East End to meet up with Leo Abrahams who performed a really cool Living Room Concert, looping his guitar for solo versions of tunes from his CD Honeytrap as well as his forthcoming recording Scene Memory.
More interviews and a Living Room concert tomorrow…
