GLEN TARACHOW: TICK, TOCK, DRIP
Glen Tarachow is a New York City based composer who spends most of his time writing commercial jingles and soundtracks. But on his own, he creates an ambient soundworld called "Waterclocks" (Burning Water Rebellion Records). It's a mesmerizing work of interlaced melodic cycles picked with time-stepping delicacy. Unlike most cyclical pieces, Tarachow recorded his guitar and keyboard piece line by line, playing all the parts straight through. In his Astoria studio, Glen Tarachow takes us inside the synchronous timepiece of WATERCLOCKS.
