A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH CODE INDIGO In the East Suffolk studio of David Wright, the English group
called Code Indigo unfolds the designs of their latest album,
TIME CODE (AD MUSIC). Perched behind keyboards and computers
and with singer Louis Eggerton, Code Indigo create an almost orchestral
electronic expanse with Eggerton's vocalise cast out on a sea
of synthesizers.
Tuesday 12/30/03 ADRIAN LEGG: RIPPED, RIGGED & ROOTS
Adrian Legg is truly a one of a kind guitarist. Possessed of
a formidable finger picking style, his music has roots deep in
English and American folk tradition, especially American banjo
picking. But Legg is no traditionalist. His roots are ripped
from the ground, played on a custom designed electric guitar,
channeled through electronic enhancements and spun through some
of the most gorgeously twisted melodies this side of a swamp vine.
Legg talks about his techniques, which includes his pitch-bending
tuning pegs and his idiosyncratic approach to the guitar.

AN ECHOES TECHNO-TRIBAL NEW YEARS STOMP Each New Year, ECHOES revs up the Beats-Per-Minute and kicks
out the jams for a New Year's Eve Techno-Tribal celebration.

ECHOES forms a seamless path into the new year, with music that
dances in your head. John Diliberto matches beats and mixes
atmospheres, riding the pulse of some of the newest ambient and
techno-tribal music, creating the ultimate New Years Eve chill-out
room. If your listeners are accustomed to ECHOES on Wednesday
nights, this will be a special treat for them as we depart the
year 2003 and welcome 2004.

NIGEL SHAW'S TRIBAL AMBIENCES Nigel Shaw is an English composer who has spent most of his
career probing the ancient spirit of England, especially Dartmoor
where he lives on an 800 year old farm. For his new album called
ANCESTORS (Seventh Wave Records), Nigel took recordings of Northern
tribes including the Sami from Finland, and wove them into his
own tapestry along with his wife, singer Carolyn Hillyer. In
their loft barn studio, Nigel and Carolyn talk about touching
an ancient spirit with modern hands.
