It's been a great year for music with several new artists bringing us new directions in music. Ambient chamber music has dominated the year, but electronica made a return in the last quarter. An early perusal reveals likely winners to be an ambient chamber duo from England, a psychedelic americana guitarist from Maine and a veteran guitarist.

Father and Son trade guitar leads
John Eurell, Sr was a rock and roll guitarist who hung up his axe to get on with life when he started playing acoustic guitar with his son, John, Jr. For the last several years, they've been playing as Sundad mixing twin acoustic guitars in the spirit of fusion artists like John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola. John Jr. and Sr. talk about coming together on music while at different points in their lives.
