Robert Rich is a master of the global soundscape, mixing technology and
traditional instruments, acoustic playing and studio manipulation, he
weaves a deep, organic and seductive sound on his latest album Seven Veils
(Hearts of Space). We talk with Robert Rich about absorbing alternate
cultures and alternate realities and making them your own.

KEN BONFIELD's CHAMBER FOLK MUSIC
Ken Bonfield is a veteran player who has been around the block performing
light jazz and solo acoustic music. On his latest album, Homecoming (BWE),
he crafts a more personal sound with evocative and melodic tone poems.
He's also joined by some gifted players including bassist Michael Manring,
guitarist Grant Geissman and violinist Jerry Goodman. Ken talks about his
music.

CELTIC HARPESTRY
Celtic Harpestry (Imaginary Road) is a new album and PBS special that
illuminates new directions and traditional sounds for the Celtic harp. The
music ranges from the traditional sounds of the Belfast Harp Orchestra to
Rudiger Oppermann's electric harp. We talk with Celtic Harpestry producer,
Dawn Atkinson, Belfast Harp Orchestra founder Janet Harbison, and American
harpist Deborah Henson-Conant about the new Celtic harp.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH VAS
Over the last two years, Vas has been among the most popular groups on
Echoes. The combination of Azam Ali's ecstatic, wordless vocals and Greg
Ellis's global percussion has created an enchanting sound. At radio
station WVXU, the Echoes affiliate in Cincinnati, we capture Vas in a live
performance that includes music from their latest album, Offerings(Narada).
