A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH PETER KATER
Peter Kater has just released a four CD set called THE ELEMENTS SERIES: WATER, FIRE, EARTH AND AIR (Real Music). He's orchestrated a gentle, introspective collection of ambient chamber works that stay just to the right side of sentimentality and at times, reaches the sublime. In his southern California living room, Kater is joined by wind player Richard Hardy in a session of intimate duets, recorded live, for Echoes.

RYAN FARISH: PRETTY ELECTRONICA
Ryan Farish is a multi-instrumentalist whose Los Angeles living room is completely taken over by a recording console, computers, keyboards, guitars, and both electronic and acoustic drum kits. He brings them all to bear on his melodically rich, rhythmically sensual albums BEAUTIFUL and FROM THE SKY (Neurodisc). Ryan Farish talks about a life that includes rock and roll, Christ and computers. And we get him to thrash on his drum kit, too.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH MICHAEL HEWETT
Michael Hewett is a post-Michael Hedges finger-style guitarist who runs his instrument through digital delays and effects and wraps them in modern chamber arrangements with cello, bass and percussion. With an ear toward the global village, Hewett has recently released his third album, ALLY, a recording of expansive world chamber music compositions highlighted by Hewett's deft guitar playing.
