ARMEN CHAKMAKIAN:ARMENIAN FUSION
Armen Chakmakian is American born, but his music reals with the rhythms and
melodies of his parent's homeland, Armenia. Armen played with Shadowfax in
their later years and this year released his solo debut Ceremonies with
guests including Armenian doudouk player Djivan Gasparyan, guitarist Alex
de Grassi and Vas percussionist Greg Ellis. Armen talks about his Armenian
roots and piano fantasies.

MAIRE BRENNAN: CLANNAD'S CELTIC CHRISTIAN
Maire Brennan is best known as the lead singer of Clannad, the legendary
Irish group. On her latest album, Perfect Time, Maire reveals her born
again Christianity. We visited the singer at her home in Dun Laoghaire,
Ireland where she talked about the inspiration behind her lyrics and her
merging of Celtic music and original Christian hymns.

STEVE ERQUIAGA: CLASSICAL ERKUIALOGIE
Steve Erquiaga is a veteran guitarist whose first album came out on Windham
Hill records. Now signed to Imaginary Road, his latest album, Cafe
Paradiso, takes classical themes and arranges them into musical fantasias
for the six strings of his guitar. Steve talks about his arrangements of
music from Bach to Morricone, Faur to Erquiaga.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH HAPPY RHODES
Singer-Songwriter Happy Rhodes is a cyber high priestess with a vocal range
that encompasses masculine seductive lows and ecstatic, helium highs. Her
songs are meditations on life, existence and computer games. Happy brings
her group into the Echoes living room to play more intimate renditions of
music from her latest album, Many Worlds Are Born Tonight. It's a
mesmerizing performance.
