AN INTERVIEW WITH DEVA PREMAL & MITEN: A DIVA OF CHANT
Two early exponents of chant ecstacy talk about their music
Deva Premal is a German singer who grew up in a family of spiritual seekers with Hindu chants as her lullabies. Miten was an English rocker who found a different path. Since 1991, they've been singing Sanskrit chants in lush arrangements that have made them favorites on the Kirtan chant scene and beyond. We hear them talk about their life journeys.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH SCOTT HUCKABAY
Acoustic guitar scattered in electric dimensions
Scott Huckabay is a guitarist who dances his music. His arms flail across his guitar, banging and tapping. Shells and bells jingle and rattle on his ankles as he bounces across his numerous effects pedals, turning himself into a one man guitar orchestra. You can't see it, but we'll hear him do it live on Echoes.
