Ambient chamber music pioneers get the re-issue treatment
He scored the strings for the Sid Vicious rendition of "My Way" and hung out with Brian Eno, but Simon Jeffes is best know for his idiosyncratic and influential chamber group, The Penguin Café Orchestra. Simon Jeffes died in 1997 but his CDs are all being reissued. We revisit an interview with this pioneering composer.

Finger-style guitarist David Cullen has accompanied Windham Hill Founder and guitarist Will Ackerman for years, but he has several CDs of his own. His new one is Guitar Travels on which he double tracks himself playing nylon-stringed guitar. His journey takes him to the Echoes Living Room where he plays live.
