A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH JACK ROSE AND JESSE SPARHAWK
Two guitarists invoke the muse of finger-styles Holy Trinity in live performance
Imaginational Anthem is an anthology series collecting new exponents of finger-style guitar in the tradition of John Fahey, Leo Kottke and Robbie Basho. Jesse Sparhawk and Jack Rose come into the Echoes Living room. Sparhawk plays a set of delicate finger-style instrumentals on 6-string. Jack Rose, best known for his work the avant-psychedelic folk group, Pelt, creates some raga-americana journeys on 12-string guitar.

AJANTAMUSIC: ROCK REFUGEES
A pair of New Wave brothers find refuge in ambient designs Ultravox, Magazine and Cowboys International were bands from the New Wave and it happens that these bands had a then very young guitarist named Robin Simon and his brother Paul as members. Robin meted out slash & burn guitar and Paul pounded the drums. That was 25 years ago. Now Robin and Paul Simon work as AjantaMusic, playing a melodic brand of instrumental ethno-ambient music. In their London home, AjantaMusic talk about their trail from London to Ibiza and beyond.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH RALPH TOWNER
Acoustic guitar icon plays live in the Echoes Living Room
Ralph Towner is a giant of the acoustic guitar. From his work with the Paul Winter Consort and Oregon, he's garnered an international following for his guitar playing which merges elements of Brazilian, jazz, folk and classical music. His solo albums on ECM are treasured by acoustic enthusiasts. Towner comes into the Echoes living room to play live.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH ABSOLUTE AMBIENT
In the middle of a farming landscape in Southern England, Absolute Ambient creates an ambient soundscape live
Matt Coldrick of Absolute Ambient lives in the middle of farm country in southern England near Brighton. Amidst grazing sheep, horses and rolling fields, he and his partner, Matt "Ishq" Hillier combine for ambient excursions for guitar, synthesizers and flute, debuting two new pieces from a forthcoming film soundtrack.
