BAKA BEYOND: SHAKING THE RHYTHM TREE
Baka Beyond have been working at the intersection of Pygmy music and Celtic music for a dozen years since their debut, SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. The band has perfected a synergy where Scottish Mouth music merges with pygmy chants and Celtic Aires coalesce with Pygmy lullabies. Their latest album is RHYTHM TREE(March Hare Music) and it shows the group moving in a more acoustic direction. We talk with Baka Beyond founders Martin Cradick and Su Hart.
