Fusion firebrand tests his aural memories on Echoes
Al Di Meola came to renown with Chick Corea's Return to Forever, garnered his own fame with a string of signature fusion albums, and then returned to acoustic guitar for world fusions and tango dances. In the midst of his reunion tour with Return to Forever, AL Di Meola stepped into the Echoes Chamber, where he tried to identify and talk about music from those who influenced him and those he influenced.
