AN INTERVIEW WITH OZRIC TENTACLES
Psychedelic warriors in a techno age
The Grateful Dead of Space music takes us on a psychedelic trip
Ozric Tentacles grew out of 1980s rave culture in England, but they took their cues from the 70s psychedelic space music of Gong more than the thump of techno. Headed up by Ed Wynn, a classic guitar hero with a spacescape mind, they've released several albums and toured relentlessly since they formed at Stonehenge in 1984. Ed and bassist/synthesist Brandi Wynn take us on a trip through the world of Ozric Tentacles.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH JAMI SIEBER
Jami Sieber's electric cello looks like a stick, but it sounds like a small symphony when she wires it up an starts layering her looping melodies. On the next Echoes she plays solo versions of music from her album May CD of the Month selection, Unspoken, but they don't sound solo at all. Jami Sieber plugs in for a set of ambient chamber music on Echoes.
