INTERVIEWS AND CONCERTS FOR THE WEEK
Monday 07/02
A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH BODHI
A shamanic flute player communes in his home
On the next Echoes, it's a living room concert for flute, Electronica and global grooves when we hear Bodhi playing live.
Bodhi usually plays long solo flute works that he calls Shamanic flute, but on his latest album, Trans-Ukraine, he goes up-tempo for some down-tempo grooves. We go trans-California to hear Bodhi playing live with a band in his San Rafael home.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH DINO SALUZZI & ANJA LECHNER
Tango tangents from the reigning master of the bandoneon
Dino Saluzzi is the heir to Argentinian tango master, Astor Piazzolla, and the best-known player of the button accordion called the bandoneon. But Saluzzi goes in more intuitive and cerebral directions than Piazzolla. We capture him in a series of introspective duets with German cellist Anja Lechner from the Rosamunde Quartet. They give a live performance of music from their new CD, Ojos Negros.
