LEO ABRAHAMS: ECLECTIC AMBIENT GUITAR
Eno Acolyte in Guitar Soundscapes
Leo Abrahams' Honey Trap was one of the most engaging albums of the last year with its delicate atmospheres and a sense of whimsy and eclecticism that recalled The Penguin Café Orchestra. Discovered by Brian Eno, we hear Abrahams talk about a purist's approach to electronic guitar.

LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH DON PERIS
Intimate music for an imaginary parlor
Don Peris hails from Lancaster, PA where he's lived all his life and where he makes music with his wife, Karen, as The Innocence Mission. Recently Peris stepped out on his own with a mostly instrumental CD called Go When the Morning Shineth. He brings a trio into the Echoes Living Room to play a concert of intimate songs that are at once nostalgic and evocative.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH THE CALIFORNIA GUITAR TRIO
Three guitarists play as one super guitar
The California Guitar Trio inaugurated the new Echoes Living Room with a live set of music. The three musicians, none of whom are from or live in California, play acoustic guitars in intricate arrangements that make you think it's just one super guitarist. In a special live performance they play some of their best known pieces and debut a new composition by Yes singer Jon Anderson.
