ARYEH FRANKFURTER-HARP SONGS FROM THE MIDNIGHT SUN
Aryeh Frankfurter (that's his real name) is a multi-
instrumentalist who might be busking on Celtic harp in San
Francisco's Ghiradelli Square one day and wailing on electric
violin with the rock group Azigza the next. On his album, "Harp
Songs of the Midnight Sun" (Lionharp Music), Aryeh takes the
Celtic harp to Scandinavia, playing traditional melodies from
Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Aryeh talks about this unusual
source of Celtic harp music.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH DAVID MICHAEL AND RANDY MEAD
Sitting on a hill overlooking the ferry arriving into Port
Townsend, Washington, we sit in on a living room concert with
David Michael and Randy Mead. Mixing Celtic harp, Flutes and
pan-pipe, Michael and Mead weave the melodies off their latest
album, Courtship of the Moon (Purnima) in a live performance.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH IRA STEIN
In 1995, we went to Oakland and the living room of pianist Ira
Stein where he performed music with his chamber jazz trio of
cello and reeds. He played not only music from his Narada album,
"Spur of the Moment," but also his adaptations of Bach Chorales
that he would eventually release on his 1999 CD "Bach
Improvisations".

SPACECRAFT TAKES OFF
Spacecraft is a trio of musicians from Kentucky and Tennessee
updating the mid-period sound of Tangerine Dream in vintage space
music excursions. Their latest album, Hummel, was recorded in
the planetarium of the same name. Inspired by NASA audio
recordings, Spacecraft disembark for a few moments at Echoes to
talk about electronic music in the space age. (Coming soon: A
Living Room Concert with Spacecraft).
