A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH CARL WEINGARTEN AND MICHAEL MANRING
Carl Weingarten is an exploratory guitarist who has worked at the outer edges of progressive music for the last 20 years. Lately he's been taking the acoustic dobro and extending it's sound into evocative worlds, fusing it with electric treatments and global instruments. Carl sits down in the Echoes Living Room along with virtuoso electric bassist Michael Manring (Montreux, Windham Hill). He plays music from his latest CD, BLUE FAITH (Multiphase Records) and debuts new materiel in a country-blues ambient cinema of sound.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH ROBERT RICH
We know Robert Rich for his lush synthesizer trance works, full of organic textures, wood flutes, and glissandos of lap steel guitar. But unlike most synthesists, Robert is also a gifted pianist. He's never recorded any solo piano, but we'll hear him spontaneously create two solo excursions in his home studio.
