Drummer of power-punk band The Cliks taps her global ambient groove
Morgan Doctor is a world music percussionist who's as likely to play Indian tabla drums in a kirtan session with Durga Das as mount the stage with The Cliks, a Canadian power-punk band. On her second solo album, Other Life, she creates imagery-laden journeys colored with Indian instruments and ambient designs. Other Life is the Echoes CD of the Month for April.
