A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH PRESTON REED
Preston Reed was one of many firebrand acoustic guitarists who
came to renown in the 1980s. He's recorded on the Flying Fish,
Capitol and Liberty labels, deploying a style that mixes
intricate finger-picking with dazzling two handed tapping skills.
His latest albums are METAL and LADIES NIGHT. Preston Reed comes
to the Echoes Living Room to play some favorites and debut music
form his forthcoming album, produced by guitarist Will Ackerman.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH KEVIN KELLER
We travel to Kevin Keller's Oakland, Califiornia living room
where he plays new music for his trio of electric bass, cello and
piano, accompanied by an ambient orchestra. We'll hear two
extended pieces, never before broadcast on the radio.

CLASSICAL MUSIC IN A MODERN STYLE
We'll be hearing classical compositions by Bach, Beethoven,
Mozart and others, interpreted in a modern style by William
Orbit, Wendy Carlos and many more. We'll hear some selections
from Windham Hill's new "Mozart Variations" project, the reissue
of Carlos' "Switched on Bach" and other new versions of
orchestral classics.

SKYEDANCE FEATURE
Skyedance is headed-up by Scottish fiddler Alasdair Frasier. On
their new CD "Labyrinth" they create a lush Celtic sound out of
wide-ranging sources. Skyedance talks about their Celtic fusion.
