Ambient Dream-pop band talks in Classical elegance
Bliss is an entrancing group from Denmark that merges electronica ambience, classical melodies and African grooves in sophisticated, often ethereal tone poems. Musicians from classical, pop, electronic and African music worlds comprise this band that includes a guest appearance from Zero 7 singer Sophie Barker. Their evocative music has appeared on several soundtracks, including TV's CSI: Miami. We talk to the classical side of Bliss, with Marc-George Andersen.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH PEPPINO D'AGOSTINO & STEF BURNS
Dueling acoustic and electric guitars on an Ennio Morricone spaghetti western plain
It's a half hour of intricate and atmospheric interplay for acoustic and electric guitars when we hear Peppino D'Agostino and Stef Burns playing live. D'Agostino is an Italian born virtuoso who has released several albums of brilliant solo finger-style guitar over the last 25 years. Stef Burns is best known for slamming an electric guitar with people like Alice Cooper and Huey Lewis. But these guitarists are next-door neighbors in the San Francisco Bay Area and they crossed the fence last year to find common ground on a CD called BAYSHORE ROAD (Favored Nations). They come into the Echoes living room with a quartet to play their music live, including an unreleased Ennio Morricone medley.

A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH ZOE KEATING
One woman, one cello, and 16 virtual accompanists
Zoe Keating spends much of her time wearing a bustier and playing with the cello-gothic rock band, Rasputina. But on her own, she dresses down and electrifies her cello to create serene, layered compositions with up to 16 cello lines, all played in real time through her looping system. Zoe Keating comes into the Echoes living room to play music live from her new CD, NATOMA, named for her former residence in San Francisco.
