AUTUMNS CHILD: GLOBAL NATIVE MUSIC
Mark Holland isn't Native American, but he's mastered the Native American flute. Over the course of several albums with his group, Autumn's Child, he's been developing a chamber fusion sound mixing percussion instruments from Africa and the Middle East along with cello and guitar. Autumn's Child's latest CD, PROGRESSIVE WORLD (Cedar 'n' Sage), is the finest exposition of their music to date and placed in the Top 15 of Echoes' Listener Poll for 2002. Mark Holland reveals the map of his sound.
