TONY LEVIN: BOTTOMS UP

Tony Levin is a bass players bassist. Currently on tour with Peter Gabriel, with whom he's worked for two decades, his list of credits stretches for pages and includes Joan Armatrading and membership in King Crimson. For the last few years, Levin has been releasing instrumental albums and touring relentlessly. He has a new 2-CD set called DOUBLE ESPRESSO (Narada) that posits the idea of bass as a lead instrument. We talk with Tony and members of his band, including Larry "Synergy" Fast.
