GEORGE WINSTON & RAY MANZAREK: OPENING DOORS
Look at the liner notes for the recent 20th Anniversary edition of AUTUMN and you'll note George Winston's citations of The Doors as a seminal influence not only on his music but specific compositions. He's now recorded a CD of Doors compositions called NIGHT DIVIDES THE DAY: THE MUSIC OF THE DOORS (Windham Hill). We gather Winston and The Doors' Ray Manzarek together to talk about this musical transformation.
