Wednesday, October 31st, 2018: An Echoes Halloween

An Echoes Halloween.

An Echoes Halloween

It’s an Echoes Halloween. We go into the darker side of Echoes today with music exploring sounds that go bump in the night and voices crying out from another world. As we head down this shadowed path we’ll hear music from Erik Scott from his latest album, A Trick of the Wind and a “Burn the Witch” song. There are a lot of those out there. Ours is from Queens of the Stone Age via a cover from Olivier Libeaux. We’ll hear the last soundtrack composed by Johan Johannssen before he went to the other side. It’s for a horror film called Mandy. And we go back to 1967 and dis-entomb “Ballad of the Hip Death Goddess” by Ultimate Spinach.  We take you through a haunted house of sound as we hear drums, guitars, synths that go bump in the night and other scary things.

At Echoes OnLine, Hear an exclusive, 6-hour Halloween Stream.
