Friday, April 15th, 2016-Echoes Program 1615E

Special: Moondawn at 40.

We’ll listen to one of the seminal albums of 70s electronic music, Klaus Schulze’s 1976 album, Moondawn. It’s an iconic recording with just two compositions that took up an LP side each. Entitled “Floating” and “Mindphaser,” their names say it all in this first example of Schulze employing the Berlin-school style of sequencer driven compositions. We’ll hear music from Moondawn and more.
