Weekend, March 12 & 13, 2016-Echoes Program 1610A

Tommy Emmanuel is the leading finger-style guitarist and at age 60, his career and music is only getting bigger and better. He’s a guitarist who makes other guitarists hit the woodshed. But at the same time he’s a melodist, crafting beautiful songs to deploy across his 6 acoustic strings. Tommy comes in to play music from his latest album, It’s Never Too Late and tell stories behind his music.

  1. I am a new listener to WYPR in Baltimore. As I was driving into work last night between 10:40 and 1050 pm I heard the loveliest music that was playing and would like to hear it again to purchase it. Can you tell me from the above schedule what was playing? Thank you for your time.
