40th Anniversary of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

It was 40 years ago that Pink Floyd released their epic album, Wish You Were Here, the follow-up to Dark Side of the Moon. It was a CD based around the tragic decline of Pink Floyd’s founding member, Syd Barrett, who descended into hallucinogenic drug abuse and psychosis shortly after the release of their debut album, Piper at the Gates of Dawn. It’s a poignant ode to his promise and loss, surrounded by some of Floyd’s last great space jam instrumentals and music industry critiques. “By the way, which one’s Pink?”  We’ll recreate Wish You Were Here with  cover versions, and one movement from the Pink Floyd original as we shine on Wish You Were Here.
