Monday, March 16th, 2015-Echoes Program 1511A

The Big Ears Festival might possibly be the most adventurous and civilized festival in the country.  Taking place at several venues across Knoxville, Tennessee March 27-30, it brings together artists on the cutting edges of music including Laurie Anderson, Nels Cline, Bill Frisell and A Winged Victory for the Sullen.  We talk to Big Ears founder Ashley Capps, who also produces Bonnaroo, and this year’s festival curator, David Harrington from the Kronos Quartet.

  1. You played a song at around 2300 that broke my heart. It was so beautiful and I was wondering if you could tell me what the song was. Thank you.
