Weekend, March 7 & 8, 2015-Echoes Program 1509A

We welcome the return of Lanterna after nine years away.  Lanterna is helmed by guitarist Henry Frayne, formerly of Area and The Moon Seven Times.  As Lanterna he makes a dreamy, yet propulsive ambient Americana based sound around his delay and reverb-drenched guitar lines ringing across an endless plain.   It’s an album of deep moods and driving themes from one of the most distinctively American guitarists around.  Lanterna’s Backyards was an easy choice for the March CD of the Month.

  1. Luckily, I found your station while driving from Memphis, TN to Jackson, MS on Sunday night @ 8:30 pm. I listened until I arrived @ 12:30 am. I will be a fan from now on! Great programming. Is there any way to find out the artists, and the pieces you played during this time period? Thanks in advance!

    Sincerely,

    Larry

    • Thanks for the kind words Larry. Glad you enjoyed it. You posted your comment right on the playlist page for that show so that’s where they are.
