Wednesday September 24th-Echoes Program 1439C

Interview: Brian Reitzell
Brian Reitzell is one of those musicians who is just under the radar, but all over the screen. He’s a music supervisor and film composer who has worked on movies like Lost in Translation and 30 Days of Night as well as TV shows. I talked to him two years ago about his inventive soundtrack for the Starz TV series, Boss. Earlier this summer Reitzell put out his solo debut called Auto Music and now his soundtrack for Hannibal has been released. We talk to him about the sounds of 70s Krautrock and shoving an ear down someone’s throat.
