Echoes Program 1136E

An Echoes Requiem for 9/11

“The artists are the architects of heaven.”Bobby McFerrin
As America commemorates the ten year anniversary of September 11, 2001, Echoes will provide a respite from the analysis and recollections with music for healing and contemplation.  A Requiem Soundscape will feature new music recorded in the aftermath of 9/11, some of it composed exclusively for Echoes including tracks by Jamshied Sharifi, George Winston, Steve Reich and more.
“It makes music much more important.  You can’t hate anybody you play music with.”Mickey Hart
