ECHOES CD OF THE MONTH
DAVID DARLING: PRAYERS OF COMPASSION
Chilled cellos and melancholy moods

The lord of largo returns with another album of deep, soul-stirring ambient chamber music called Prayer for Compassion. Bill Bruford talks about his odyssey, on Echoes.

AN INTERVIEW WITH JOHN GREGORIUS
Ambient acoustic guitar
John Gregorius
is a finger-style guitarist who places his instrument in ambient soundscapes on his album, Heaven and Earth, our December CD of the Month. He's played rock 'n' roll, but he merges Windham Hill-style acoustics with Steve Tibbetts-style landscaping. John Gregorius talks about his guitar journey, which includes the Christian imagery that suffuses his music.
