PEPPINO D'AGOSTINO & STEF BURNS: FINGERSTYLE VS THE FRET BURNER
Echoes listeners know Peppino D'Agostino for his sensitive finger-style guitar playing and compositions. You've probably heard Stef Burns without knowing it. He's an electric guitar slinger who's recorded with Y&T, Alice Cooper and currently tours with Huey Lewis & the News. These two neighbors in San Francisco's East Bay suburbs have made a CD that strikes a balance between sensitive interplay and furious virtuosity. It's called BAYSHORE ROAD (Favored Nations Acoustic) and places Burns electric on D'Agostino's finger-style trellis. The two musicians talk about their collaboration.
