A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH WILLIAM EATON
William Eaton brings his exotic stringed instruments, like the Lyre-Harp guitar, to Echoes, playing his music live. On his latest album, SPARKS AND EMBERS (Canyon Records), Eaton deploys his instruments in an exotic world chamber fusion that draws its rhythms from the middle east and Africa, it's melodies from India and Appalachia and it's atmosphere right out of the desert southwest where the William Eaton Ensemble lives. With percussionist Will Clipman, flutist Claudia Tulip, and violinist Allen Ames, Eaton weaves global themes with Native accents live on Echoes.
