LOOP GURU TAKES A BATH
Loop Guru is the longtime ethno-techno band from England, willfully lifting samples from records that go acorss cultures and time, re-mixing them into their own, often atmospheric, rhythmically pulsing compositions. They've just released their first CD in 5 years, Bathtime with Loop Guru (Hypnotic Records). We enter the studio of Loop Guru co-founder Dave Muddyman and his partner in sonic crime, Sam Dodson, to talk about their latest formulation.
