A LIVING ROOM CONCERT WITH MCGILL-MANRING-STEVENS
Bay Area bassist Michael Manring is joined by two virtuosos from the Philadelphia area, guitarist Scott McGill and drummer Vic Stevens. Recently, they released their second CD as the trio, McGill-Manring-Stevens. It's called Controlled by Radar (Free Electric Sound). A double CD, one disc is electric and the other disc is acoustic. In a live Echoes performance the trio brings their semi-acoustic side with McGill on acoustic guitar, Stevens on drums and Manring on fretless electric bass. It's an exhilarating performance from three virtuosos.
