Weekend, August 1 & 2 , 2015-Echoes Program 1530A

Interview with Ascendant.

Ascendant consists of electronic music producers Chris Bryant and mastering engineer Don Tyler. Together they create sonic soundscapes, drifting melodies, complex sequences and skittering beats that find them somewhere between space and ambient music. We were captivated by their albums, Source Transmission and Outlets of the Sky and now they extend that sound with an impressive new album, Æthereal Code.

  1. Thanks for playing Michele McLaughlin’s “Changing Skies.” Surprised that she is not in the Top 25 for July. Maybe August? My wife and I plan to see her when she’s in Charlotte (WFAE) on October 10.

Keep playing the great music of Michele and the other great performers you feature!
